gauss.exe stop working correctly-open file

Hi,

Every time when I try to open a file my Gauss crashes, with the message below.

"gauss.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".

I can't open any file right now. How should I solve this problem? Thank you.

This is probably caused by some bad behavior from the Dell Backup Recovery software. If you uninstall the Dell Backup and Recovery software, your problem should be resolved.
