Reading CSV files on Mac should be the same as on Windows or Linux. Here is a basic example.

1. Create a file named my_data.csv with the following contents:

1,
2,
4,
8,
16,
32

2. From the GAUSS command line (make sure your GAUSS working directory is the same as the directory to which you saved the file my_data.csv), enter the command:

load new_var[] = my_data.csv;
print new_var;
