.par files

I have recently came across a Gauss code where .out and .par files are created for exporting results. I know about .out files which save the outcomes to an external file but I am lost with respect to the usage of .par files.

Any help with this?

There is no official usage of the .par extension in GAUSS. My best guess is that it is just a text file to which they write the ending parameter values.
